Definition of Exports:
The trade of selling
commodities (goods or services) to a foreign country.
Pre-requisites to becoming an
Exporter:
A firm/company needs to:

Obtain an IEC (Importer Exporter Code) from the JDGFT (Joint
Director General of Foreign Trade).

Obtain an RCMC (Registration Cum Membership Certificate) from the
related Export Promotion Council based on the product of Export.

A Current Account with a Bank (Foreign Exchange Dealer).
